Made starter 48hrs before pitch with 550ml of water and 1/2 cup light DME. Good activity well before adding to batch.

5/6/2007 6 pm - Pitched yeast.
5/7/2007 6 am- both airlocks bubbling
5/8/2007 9 pm- bubbling strongly 2/sec
