Used Welsh Mild Recipe from Gambrinus Mug



Actual Grain Bill:
6lb 2 Row Pale Ale UK 1#
.25 lb Brown Malt 55L (Baird)
.25 lb Caramel 80 L.
.25 lb Chocolate Malt 1#
.5 lb Crystal 50-60-L 1#
.2 Caramel 20L 1#

Mash: 8.5 QT @ 155 Deg F
Strike 165 Deg F

Schedule:
60 1oz Fuggles
      1tsp Burton Salts

20 Chiller
15 Irish Moss
5 .25 oz Fuggles

Starting Gravity 1.045
Finish Gravity 1.010

Yeast used: Recycled White Labs Ale yeast

Fermentation:
1 week primary
1 week secondary

Primed with 1/2 c corn sugar and kegged.

Results:
Beer is a little nutty with good head. It ended up a bit overcarbonated, maybe I will use a bit less sugar next time.
