Serrano Hot Sauce

Original Recipe:

  • 1 lb Serrano Peppers
  • 1 bunch corriander (cilantro)
  • 1 T Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 t cumin
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil

My sized down recipe:

  • 1/3 lb Serrano Peppers (about 22)
  • 1 t Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 t ground corriander
  • 1 t cumin
  • white distilled vinegar
  • Salt

Process:

Cut tops off of Serrano peppers, place in food processor and turn on.  Add vinegar in top until mixture starts to "process" plus a little more.  Move mixture to bowl and add red pepper flakes, corrander, cumin and salt (about 1 t).  Keep in fridge.
