Chocolate Mint Squares
Cookies
1 c. sugar
2 sticks + 6 T. margarine
4 beaten eggs
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. vanilla
1 c. flour
16 oz. can choc. syrup.
2 c. powdered sugar
1 t. peppermint flavor
Some milk to cream
green food coloring
6 oz. choc. chips
Layer 1 - Cream 1 c. sugar and 1 stick margarine, 4 beaten eggs, 1/2 t. salt, 1/2 t. vanilla, 1 c. flour, 16 oz. can choc. syrup. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake 30 mintues. 350. Cool
Layer 2 - 1 stick margarine, softened, 2 c. powdered sugar, 1 t. peppermint flavor, some milk to cream, green food coloring. Spread on cool cake.
Layer 3 - 6 oz. choc. chips and 6 T. margarine (melted.) Cool and pour over mint layer. Chill. Cut into small squares.
