Great Ginger Snaps
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup margarine
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
Cream butter with sugar until light an fluffy. Add egg and molasses. Combine dry ingredients. Roll into small balls. Roll into sugar/cinnamon mixture. Place balls 2 1/2 inches apart. Bake and 375 Deg F until lightly brown.
