Saucy Italian Chicken Thighs

12 chicken thighs, skinned
1 14.5-oz. can Italian-style diced tomatoes
1 6-oz. can tomato paste
1/2 c chopped onion
1 T bottled minced garlic
1 t oregano or Italian seasoning
1 t salt
1 t pepper

1 Place chicken in crockpot.  Combine tomatoes and remaining ingredients, stir well.  Pour sauce over chicken. 

2 Cover with lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until chicken is tender.
