Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened (I use neufchatel)
1 c sugar
1 t vanilla
2 cans crescent rolls
3/4 c sugar
1 t cinnamon
1/2 c butter, at room temperature

Preheat oven to 350.  Prepare a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray.

Beat cream cheese with 1 c sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.  Unroll one can of cresecnt roll and shape into 9x13 rectangle.  Press into bottom of baking dish.  Spread the cream cheese mixture into the baking dish, then cover with 2nd piece of crescent roll. 

Stir together 3/4 c sugar, cinnamon and butter.  Dot over top of cheesecake.

Bake until dough has puffed and turned golden brown, about 30 minutes.  Cool completely before cutting into squares.
