Spent Grain Bread
3 c spent grain
1.5 c warm water
1 pkg. (1 T) dry yeast
1/3 c brown sugar
3-5 c flour
Proof yeast in water and sugar.  Put spent grain in a large mixer bowl.  Mix in starter, and start adding flour.  Keep adding flour until dough is smooth and no longer sticky.  Place dough in a large bowl, cover with a clean towel and rise until doubled.  Punch down dough then split into two loaves and place in greased bread pans.  Allow loaves to double in size, then bake 375F for 30-40 minutes or until brown.
