Asian Barbecue Sauce
2 t sesame oil
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 c cider vinegar
1 c ketchup
3/4 c lightly packed brown sugar
1/2 c soy sauce
2 T hot chili sauce with garlic
2 T dry sherry
1 t ground ginger
Heat sesame oil in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion. Cook 2 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients, combine with a whisk. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 7 minutes
